You loved us so much that you created us

<<< 05/16/2023 You loved us so much that you created us, that you decided to make that soul a body to be able to live in communion with you. I start from this paragraph to reflect on the theology course this weekend that has helped me so much to understand many things that I didn’t see clearly before. You begin by showing us a man who walked alone on the earth, where nothing, no thing he found in this world satisfied him, did not fill his heart until you created the woman, a person perfectly complementary to him. At the moment they both experience that loneliness, that feeling of being alone, they unite with each other and begin to live a life together. They share that feeling of having to give themselves, of sharing the love they received from you, such great love, that they need to give life to another person to create the family where to express it. I can’t stop thinking that the key to everything is love. All the turns I take to find explanations lead me to this. A person who is not loved and does not love cannot solve the deepest existential doubt: Who am I? Because we are your fruit, we are your children and if you are love, the moment we do not open our hearts to you we cannot live. You create a body as your image to be able to express yourself (yourself) on earth and you create us in your likeness, and with this I understand that the vocation of every human being in life is to resemble you, that is why we are here. Our only true mission is to give ourselves, to live for others, and the only way to achieve this is with love. To give it we have to receive it from somewhere, and who better than you, because we have already seen that NOTHING on earth will give us happiness if it is not something that comes from you. A phrase that caught my attention was: “Life is a mystery that will be revealed.” Throughout life I discover and build my being and I realize that the closer I am to you the more I grow because I am more capable of giving myself to the person next to me. I can step out of myself and stop looking out for my own good to be able to give good to the other. It is not always so easy. We were born with a wound that makes loving difficult. It causes my suffering, my fear, my pain. It makes me live inside myself and not give myself to others when I cling to it, because I live worried about the harm it does to me and that does not allow me to live. But it is also that wound that makes me approach you, there is the other side of the coin, wanting to embrace it and see that it is a way to get closer to you. Because I need it to be healed, and who better than you. I realize that feeling loved or not depends on us, that is why you gave us freedom, that is why you gave us the option to choose what we want to do with our lives. There you wait patiently for us to find you to be able to lead us to happiness. And it is totally real that I have experienced. The moment I have not been close to God I have been able to perfectly notice how I had that feeling of confusion, discomfort, not knowing who I am. I begin to create doubts, insecurities, to fill myself with things I find in the world that fill that emptiness inside. How amazing to think that you have a person planned for me with whom to unite wounds and create a path together that leads me to you. It is clear that alone we do nothing, that we need the love of the other to pull me. But always keeping in mind that it is a love beyond the person, because if the human being itself is finite when that person is gone that love would end. It has to come from you so that it is something that lasts forever, so that it is something unlimited. It is incredible how the spiritual and the physical are so connected. Clearly the body is a reflection of the soul and hence the explanation of having to take care of both inside and out. We are a gift from God, we have been created for a reason and every gesture of our body is linked to a spiritual purpose. Now I understand the need to wait for the love with the person you are in love with to mature, not to rush that giving until God has decided to consecrate it, because this body is his, and it can only have a place when he is present in both, when he has united us as one. Now I understand how important it is to love and respect him, to want him just as he is, with each of the imperfections he has. Because that is how God loves us and that is how we have to love ourselves, every single one of the wounds we have is what makes us seek him and want to lead our lives to the truth. Now I understand the greatness behind you. How perfect your plan and path prepared for us is. I want to discover it, walk it, I have that need for you to keep showing it to me and the only way you have to do it is by letting me do it. All that remains is to give thanks for having given me this opportunity to open my eyes even more, for having given me the opportunity to live this amazing life. Now I can only see all the good you have created for us, the reason why I am here, and how important I am to you. My life begins to make sense because I discover that you have a mission prepared for me, common to all people: to carry you in me to carry you to others. I just want to live it well. I want to build that little piece of heaven here, but for that I need you. So nothing, let’s get to work, there is no time to lose. Now that I know the key I plan to give myself totally to you. Thank you, I feel truly fortunate. >>>
