Thank you for suggesting the washing of the feet. Following your advice, we took out the guitar and began to sing to God in the meantime. At one point, the singing broke, overwhelmed. The atmosphere was filled with tenderness as the parents God gave us washed their children’s feet. It was such a pure love… Christ was near, He always is, but at that moment we beat with the same certainty of His presence in the silence. Christ always new. Thank you for inviting us to experience His infinite humility. The whole mystery of His love fit into a simple gesture. Thank you for this gift, Father.
