Letter to the King of my Life

<<< 12/31/2018 Jesus, thank you. It is the only word I can say after the most exciting, most beautiful, and happiest weekend of my life. Monday afternoon, dead tired, and I am still not aware of the gift this trip has been. Thank you Jesus for this weekend in which You have let Your grace flood Hakuna. Thank you Jesus, for teaching me that everything we do is not for ourselves, but for and to You, for our Poor Madly in Love. Thank you for teaching me how beautiful it is to get dirty just to make You smile, to sacrifice without expecting anything in return, to give until it hurts, just as the cross hurt You. A very close person told me when leaving the Vatican with tears in their eyes: “Someone tell me now that this is not real, that God does not love us.” And how right they are. Thank you for Hakuna, Lord. We want to be your instrument to revolutionize the world, to make things new. Ro said it at the concert: “You can hear the rumor of a Revolution.” Thank you for letting me be part of it. We have sung in the Vatican, your headquarters. We have decorated and made the walls of centuries-old basilicas resound with our songs. We have shouted at the top of our lungs until we lost our voices that Your Mercy has entered our home. Thank you my God for this first HAM. And since you know me, I also write to ask you. I ask you to never let me forget that I am not alone, that I have a huge family, your family. Thank you for reminding me where happiness is. I ask you to remind me every night what my motto must be: “Nonconformity, Joy, Compassion.” To us Jesus, your Right Hand said these words. I ask you to teach me to look with the love and hope with which the Pope and Don Carlos looked at us, reminding us that it is us who have to bring your light to our friends, and not only the priests. Because they can’t keep up Jesus. Don Josepe, Don Arturo, Don Javier… and all your generals, they can’t keep up, and look, you have taken the best. They always need soldiers ready for war. Remind me of this always Lord. Light me up Lord, and let me bring your light to all my friends. Oh Lord, they don’t know what they’re missing. If they knew what it is to jump and shout Revolution looking at the sky, embraced with your friends. Pffff, that really is a high. Thank you Jesus for the most exciting, most beautiful, and happiest weekend of my life. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you, and you’re welcome. You’re welcome because I know how much you have smiled. I am sure you have smiled as much this weekend as those times when when you stop smiling your cheeks hurt. And how could you not smile. Thank you for the Love I have felt this weekend. Thank you because I know that is only a little piece of the Love you have saved for me, a caress compared to the big hug you want to give me. So you know Jesus. Thank you, and you’re welcome. Thank you my Mother for taking care of us. Thank you because without you none of this would have been possible. I am sure of that. Please keep walking hand in hand with us, because without you we easily get lost. Thank you because you manage to bring out smiles that no one else can bring out. Those smiles that come out when, embraced, we sing to you not to leave us, those smiles do not come from this world. Thank you, King of my life. Thank you, Queen of Hakuna. The Revolution with you is Real. >>>
