Let Yourself Be Surprised (Holy Land Seniors 2019)

<<< 09/30/2019 So many things from these days in the Holy Land resonate in my soul. I review one by one in my mind each of those memories that the soul wants to keep forever, forever… Don’t let me, my Jesus, forget each of those moments when you looked at me and loved me more. You know I am a cold, planner person, one who measures every step… I had imagined this trip as I organize everything in my life: structured, measured, calculated… And then You come and blow it all up. You really have a sense of humor, and you laughed at the things we told you. And when, exhausted, I went down the stairs of the Way of the Cross, I felt you telling me: Don’t speak anymore, don’t tell me more things… I know them all, and you make me laugh. Let me carry you, let me carry everything. Get in at the end, next to the Cyrenean, hold on tight and you will see how I make all things new. Do you think this trip is the best thing that has happened to you? My son, you have no idea what I have prepared for you if you let me. The best is yet to come and I will show you Mediterraneans, Tiberias, and deserts you don’t know, and I will make your heart a great soul, and every night at the end of the day, I will hold you in my arms, rock you, and tell you the good things I have prepared for you. And I could only hide my tears behind sunglasses so others wouldn’t see them, and shout with all my strength: “Mom, I will never leave him.”
