Hello Jesús!
It has been a couple of days since I returned from God Stop and the truth is that I keep thinking about everything that has happened these days.
As soon as I got back, both a couple of friends and my parents asked me to define the experience with one word, and the truth is that I was unable to sum it up with a single adjective. However, rereading my notebook notes today, I found the word I was looking for: So, how was God Stop, Jesús? Well, it was Instructive. That is the word: instructive.
Don Josepe read us a phrase from the Gospel a couple of times during the weekend, where You tell us: Desire my words, long for them and you will receive instruction. Well, that is how it has been, in Your words, in the silence, in Your company, kneeling before You I have received instruction. But I have not received it in an explicit way, with fireworks or through something miraculous like an apparition, but in a much more natural and simple way, almost without realizing it. How well You do things, Jesús!
These days I have realized that I only have to trust in You. I thought I already knew You but You are an absolute mystery, that I can neither understand nor pretend to ever understand. I simply want to let myself be made, let myself be possessed by You, that You resurrect me and make me new day by day. The instruction is clear: follow You. Carry my cross and follow You. Stop asking myself why me and simply trust in You and Your plans. Live in uppercase and live embracing whatever comes, whatever it is, and give You glory.
Thanks to Don Josepe, for sharing this weekend with us and helping us so much. Thanks to all the pringados who have spent the whole weekend pampering and taking care of us. But above all, thank You, Jesús, because You are awesome, and truly.
