Dear Mother of Hakuna,
I feel so lucky that you brought me closer to this family. What an AMAZING FAMILY!
I’m still on cloud nine, as if I were on a swing going to Heaven.
As Josepe explained to us, the embrace makes me see your Son made flesh in my brothers. And there are no better words to express something so great. And how miserable I am when, trying to give myself to everyone, I am not able to get up the first time. But it is true that “the sea is made of drops” and that every effort I make to please and make each person smile is something, a drop, a puddle, a pond, a river, and everything ends up in the sea.
But Mother, I’m going to tell you that here a tsunami will be caused if each of us adds our drop. Because on December 22 we fit in a church, but soon we will need a cathedral and we will fall short.
How wonderful it is to be able to pray as a family, in trust. It is impossible not to smile in front of so many fools, in front of every face that sits next to me in an Hour of Adoration and that, without knowing their name, I feel in communion with that person.
“Include the whole world in the movement” is a beautiful phrase from The Embrace. And I hope I can serve your Son as you did, Mother, with my life, my heart, and my smile, which is all I can offer you.
By the way, Mom, the “all for all” I’m about to tattoo on my skin, because in my heart I have them all, all, all!
