NIGHT… RESURRECTING, LIVING FULLY ALIVE
I am ashamed and proud to be able to say this.
I have been with a wonderful group, but above all, I have been with the
Resurrected One. As soon as I arrived on Friday, entering the chapel and seeing a shadow of a
cross and the words “Why do you look among the dead?”, it impacted me deeply and already told me that something was going to happen there.
I already knew Christ and had personal and community experiences of God,
but I did not know the resurrected One. I did not know the transfigured One.
When I heard the theme, I felt a bit lazy, seeing that it is the moment when
He speaks (because it is not known what Jesus talks about with the prophets). Well, as always,
God does nothing without purpose.
I was amazed when I saw, when I felt, when I lived that Christ was telling me that the
transfigured One wanted me to be, that I have to want it, and that He is overwhelmed seeing us, a group of 100 young people in these times, worshiping Him and
living Him. Who am I to reach such a point? I who thought I was the worst of His children, my pride,
the one who does not understand that He has forgiven my distant life, and on top of that He asks me to transfigure and resurrect and be with Him.
I died, I let die, I stopped being an oppressor, I left totalitarianism, I removed inner hatred, I let
my nights be for resting with Him. The night song was a constant cry for more reasons and for the angels who sang throughout the weekend.
I left much of my sadness and shame and the desire that I have long
wanted to die and have even tried. Because I died and resurrected there.
AND OH, DID I RESURRECT!
I have returned trusting more, with an inner flame that must be cared for, but there is a
community that ensures it continues that way. With hope to fight, with a desire to
smile and shout to the world that I want to live in the tide!, that I want it to live in me!
and that I surrender to His trust and to living, to be received day by day. To go without fear
of what others will say, to get involved with everyone and enjoy life here!
I have come to the conclusion that being happy takes precedence over being right, that my ego should not
be above, and that everything is more beautiful when smiling.
I want to live fully alive and live by His side, because only there is when you smile with the soul.
I do not say goodbye without thanking each and every one of the involved, the newcomers
who went, to D. Miguel and D. Josepe for their dedication and the smiles you all processed that ARE LIFE!.
Blessed be the day of my troubles because they have brought me here and made me know happiness
and the desire to live.
