These three words changed our lives and even more so during this quarantine.
The most optimistic, hopeful, and joyful message that everyone hopes to read every morning in those Whatsapp groups: “We are all fine. One day less”
Those moments at 8:00 PM, when we are getting to know our neighbors and we all come together for that massive applause, for all those anonymous heroes who are giving their all…
I refuse to think of a bad God who created all this and even less to think “God, you just don’t care about us.” I believe in an incredible God and I believe that thanks to these moments we will unite much more with Him, it will make us value every Eucharist, every communion, every confession… It will unite us much more with our families, whether we are under the same roof or not, but caring for everyone every day; it will unite us with our friends, with whom sometimes, unintentionally, we go too fast: we just want to do and do and improvise plans, live experiences… But in these moments you would love to be having drinks with them, without rush, without improvisations, just being, hugging, kissing….
Let’s take advantage of these days to learn to love in a different way, to love with distances, to miss, because there will be more video calls than hugs. Let’s take advantage to learn to pray without schedules, abandoning ourselves in God, to enjoy cooking, cleaning, studying, doing a bit of sport…
We will come out of this being more human and less individualistic because here we are to fight ALL FOR ALL.
