We process the data you provide through forms and your user profile for the following purposes:

  • Management of registrations and participation in activities, gatherings, getaways, retreats, and holy hours. Legal basis: performance of the relationship (Art. 6.1.b GDPR).
  • Management of the user profile on the website. Legal basis: performance of the relationship (Art. 6.1.b GDPR).
  • Informative communications related to Hakuna activities and services. Legal basis: legitimate interest/consent (Art. 6.1.f/6.1.a GDPR). You may unsubscribe at any time.
  • Payment management through the corresponding payment gateway. Legal basis: performance of the relationship (Art. 6.1.b GDPR).
  • Legal compliance (accounting/tax obligations). Legal basis: legal obligation (Art. 6.1.c GDPR).

3. Data retention

We will retain your data as long as you maintain your account or relationship with Hakuna and, thereafter, for the time necessary to comply with legal obligations or address possible liabilities.

4. Recipients and processors

We will not share your data with third parties except where legally required. For the provision of services, we use providers acting as data processors (for example, hosting services, communication tools, and payment providers), with whom we sign the contracts required by the GDPR.

If any provider offers services from outside the EEA, we ensure that adequate safeguards are in place (adequacy decisions or EU standard contractual clauses).

You may exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction, and portability by sending an email to our DPO at contacto@hakuna.org, indicating “Data Protection”.
