<<< 03/21/2024 HEAVEN AND EARTH BESIDE YOU I don’t know what heaven is like, but I do know how I want to be and enjoy on Earth. I have done retreats inside and outside of HKN, but I had never taken an HKN getaway. What I have discovered…! Everyone’s smiles, hugs, a “…so happy you came!”, people who never stop helping and offering themselves. Meeting and discovering wonderful people. I have embraced the etymology of “all for all.” I am privileged. If I arrived wrapped in cotton cared for by God, I can’t even tell you how I left! During the trip there in the car, I reminisced about parts of my life with my friends. As soon as I arrived, the whole weekend was full of darts from God! The first was an envelope with my name and underneath “A FUTURE BESIDE YOU”… and who am I to receive an envelope… no one. 500 souls admiring and guarding God and The Mother. A solemn silence broken only by the drumbeat of the Peace that was felt while enjoying You. We all have our worries, but for some time now I have seen them with better perspective. Every day I discover new things and see that by nurturing my faith, my inner peace grows and that at any moment another fool helps you or you help him… it’s a joy to see everyone coming back from the lighthouse lunch helping, at the end of the party a bunch picking up to make everything faster and everyone with the same thing, a smile as their banner and at the end seeing the satisfaction of the work done and the Peace it brings, asking for nothing, simply for doing what’s right and helping each other. Although it’s impossible to choose just one moment from the weekend. As I mentioned at the beginning. I don’t know what heaven is like, but if the earth is like this, I think we’ll be amazed the day we have to go, because I want to go there. A huge hug and thanks to everyone for everything! >>>
